A recent job
There's a door in this wall. Find it.
The homeowners wanted storage under their deck, and they didn't want to see a single fastener. So I put the hinges on the inside of the door and mortised a marine grade double ball catch into the framing. The door snaps in between two spring loaded balls and holds shut. No lock, no visible hardware.

Where the plan meets the real job.
Every job starts with a good plan. Then you open the wall, the material shows up different, the weather turns, or the plans don't quite match what's standing there. That's normal. Most contractors show up, do their part, and stay in their lane, and most of them are decent at it. But a plan only works if someone can adjust it without breaking the rest. I look for the line that runs through the plans, the schedule, and the budget, and I tell you when something is outside what I do.

01 / FASCIA
Skipped the angled cut
A deck had two fascia levels, and the gutter installer said the fascia had to be cut back. I asked why, then suggested metal flashing inside the gutter, against the fascia. Water drains, nothing cut, no extra labor.
02 / RAIL
Fixed it without a callback
A handrail went on off center because only the deck's picture frame was built. I centered it right then with two screws per post, and came back for the other two after the decking was down.
03 / POSTS
Matching pads
Two concrete pads for 8x8 posts had to match in height, or the difference would show in the finished posts. The builder hadn't thought of it and told the mason.

We hired Fafula Projects to repair damage to our tongue and groove screen porch ceiling from hurricane Helene. A number of boards needed to be replaced and there were many scratches in others. I was concerned that they may have difficulty in matching the wood. However, they did a beautiful job not only in replacing the wood with identical matches, but also repairing all the scratches. An excellent company! I initially contacted them for siding repair after hurricane Helene. They were also able to do extensive tree clean up for me. Adolph is top notch, very thorough and professional. After they were done he made sure everything was cleaned up and looking great. Before we start
I can sketch it before I build it.
I don't do 3D renders or fly-throughs. What I can do is sketch your project right on a photo of your own house: where the door swings, where the posts land, how the trim lines up. That's usually enough to make a decision.
